Connect Teachable
Teachable connects with API credentials, plus one webhook you add in Teachable yourself — Teachable has no webhook API, so that single step can't be automated. Five minutes, start to finish.
What you need
- Your school URL — e.g.
yourschool.teachable.com. - Your V1 API key — in Teachable, Settings → API.
- Your Teachable login email and password. These are combinedin your browserinto the access code Teachable's Legacy API requires (needed for plan and bundle pricing). That code embeds your login, so Untaggle stores itencrypted and treats it with the same care as a password.
- You must be an admin of your Untaggle account.
Steps
- In Untaggle, open Connections and click + Connect platform, then pick Teachable.
- Fill in the four fields and click Test connection — you'll see a ✓ with your school's address.
- Click Connect.
- Open the new connection's settings and go to its Eventstab. Under the purchase event you'll see a note that no Untaggle webhook is registered at Teachable yet, with a URL below it. Click show full URLand copy it — the URL contains this connection's secret token, so treat it like a password.
- In Teachable, create a webhook for the Sale.created event pointing at that URL.
- Back in Untaggle, the same card lists what's registered at Teachable once the webhook exists — that's your confirmation it's wired.
What this enables
- Triggers: Teachable purchases — including bundles and collections — start your actions.
- Actions: enroll students in courses and bundles as a destination.
- Teachable has no unsubscribe concept, so it doesn't participate in unsubscribe sync — your email platforms handle that side.
